THE DRESS CHOICE
During a first appointment, we discuss together the style you want, your constraints, your expectations and we try on your favorite dresses, let yourself be guided by the valuable advice of our Séverine who will be able to guide you towards THE dress.

TAKING THE MEASURES
We take precise measurements for a perfectly fitted creation.

TRYING ON THE FABRIC
Your dress will be made in a cotton toile during your first fitting. This toile will be perfectly fitted to you by our atelier manager. This is the time to choose the depth of the neckline, the sleeve length, or the bust height... This draping will serve as our pattern to create the perfect dress for you. Dior said: "The toile is to the dress what the caterpillar is to the butterfly."

THE DRESS FITTING
Your dress is coming to life in its lovely fabric, it will not be completely finished, now is the time to take measurements to close it and adjust the length with your shoes.

LAST FITTING
Your magnificent dress is finished; now is the time to walk around in it, to confirm the length and train. We offer a system for raising the train, and you can bring along the person who will be dressing you on that day to give them final instructions.

ONE FINAL TOUCH-UP?
Our workshop is on site; depending on the schedule, you'll just need to wait a little while before leaving with your treasure...

READY TO WEAR

Our ready-to-wear collection can be tried on in our showroom by appointment only. It is designed for brides-to-be who wear a standard size between 36 and 44. We do not keep stock; each dress is made to order in our Paris atelier. We take your measurements and compare them to the ready-to-wear size according to our size chart, which can be found in our FAQ under the "How to Choose Your Size" tab. Please note that if you have a size difference, for example, if you wear a 38 on top and a 40 on the bottom, the dress will be made in size 40. Custom alterations are not possible with ready-to-wear, unlike with made-to-measure. To ensure a perfect fit, especially regarding the length with your shoes, we will provide a quote for alterations. Alterations can be done by us, depending on your schedule, or by our partner tailor.

If you wish to order online, we cover the delivery and return costs only within France. Outside of France, the costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please allow an average of 15 days to three weeks for the production of a ready-to-wear dress.

During your first appointment, you'll try on prototypes of the models you saw on the website. Five to six models in one hour, accompanied by a consultant to guide you in your choices. Our consultants are available Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Closed on Wednesdays.

Yes, two people maximum!

You can come with very light makeup, or better yet, none at all! Our dresses are white and delicate!

Our dresses are very lightweight and are delivered to you in an opaque cover that you can fold in half for transport.

The entire ready-to-wear line has been designed and developed to suit a variety of body types and ages: from long, midi, and short dresses with clean, easy-to-wear cuts. Need to shorten your dress by a few centimeters? Don't hesitate to contact your local seamstress or a good alterations shop.

The only way to properly care for your dress is to have it professionally dry cleaned.

Production time for my ready-to-wear dress

Your dress is handmade in our Parisian workshop in 2 to 3 weeks. Delivery time, approximately 3 to 5 business days within mainland France, must then be added.


Track the delivery of my order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your package's tracking number. This tracking number is clickable and allows you to track your order.


Make a return

Marie Laporte is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. If you need to return your purchase, please ensure that the return is made within 14 days of receiving the merchandise. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition, with all tags attached and in the packaging in which it was delivered. Clothing that has been worn, damaged, or washed will not be accepted.

Request a return

Returns made after 14 days may be refused. Marie Laporte reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with our return policy. Upon receipt of the merchandise, it will be inspected before we approve a refund. Once approved, the return will be processed.

Refunds will be processed within 3 to 5 days of receiving the returned clothing. We cannot offer exchanges; for a different size, a new order must be placed.

For online ready-to-wear, we accept payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express).

Your bank details are never in our possession. Transactions are processed entirely through our partner Shopify's secure payment module. Your payment is completely secure.
